In this weeks blog we want to challenge you! Below are five riddles in Spanish and see if you can work them out; don't worry we have also put the answers at the end of the article.

There are a number of reasons as to why riddles are great when learning Spanish. You get a better insight to the culture of different Spanish speaking countries. It also teaches your brain to be flexible when it comes to critical thinking. You learn how to draw creative connections between Spanish words so they stick in your mind a lot longer.

Now you know why riddles are good when learning Spanish let's begin:

1) ¿En dónde hay ríos pero no agua,
hay ciudades pero no edificios,
hay bosque pero no árboles?

2) ¿Qué te pertenece a ti y sin embargo los demás lo usan con más frecuencia que tú?

3) ¿En qué mes una niña
habladora habla menos?

4) Cuanto más caliente,
más fresco y crujiente,

5) ¿En qué culminan
el día y la alegría?
