Group Trips in Guatemala
Spanish Marks creates custom-made itineraries for groups, covering both cultural and volunteering activities in Guatemala. Itineraries are tailored to your group’s needs and budget, and includes English-speaking guides.
Our trips are designed to fully immerse groups into local communities, allowing them to make a valuable contribution, work as a team and experience a new culture.

Whether you are a school group, skilled professionals or corporate volunteers, we will tailor trips to meet your group’s individual requirements. Projects include both:
Volunteering
Work alongside fully-vetted charities, NGOs and social enterprises dedicated to the development of Guatemala. Options range from reforestation projects, promotion of youth rights, nutrition and medical attention, teaching and much more.
Cultural Activites
A fascinating range of cultural activites can be built into your itinerary which compliment your educational and recreational objectives. Activities range from volcano treks, to coffee tasting and dance workshops.
Ethical volunteering
Spanish Marks partners with ethical volunteering organisations who are passionate about making a positive impact in Guatemala.
It is important to us that the benefits for our volunteers and partner organisations are balanced, and that while volunteers develop invaluable skills on a project, the host organisation is also able to benefit through a collaboration of visions and experiences.

Following your call with your placement advisor, you will be sent trip options tailored to your specific group’s needs. This will cover both volunteering activities as well as cultural, extra-curricular activities.

If you decide to go ahead, we ask for a non-refundable £60.00 deposit which is used to put together a more detailed trip itinerary. You will receive a full breakdown of each day and the organisations you can get involved with. Please note that this does not tie you into committing to the trip or paying the remaining balance.

Meet face-to-face with us in London before you set out to Guatemala. This is an opportunity to meet our staff and ask any questions you may have.

Get to know your neighbourhood and learn the ropes before starting your trip. This will be held in the city of Quetzaltenango.
