Why Volunteer
Join a volunteer placement abroad in Guatemala and experience a country of immense beauty with soaring volcanoes, ancient Mayan ruins and colourful colonial towns.
However, there are deep-rooted problems from chronic malnutrition to a lack of educational opportunities. We connect volunteers with the charity, Asociación Fatima, dedicated to the development of Guatemala.
Types of Volunteer Projects
Volunteer with our partner-charity, Asociación Fatima at any time of the year, with flexible project durations.
The charity helps more than 250 families in the Quetzaltenango region, vulnerable to malnutrition and a lack of education.
Volunteer projects range from medical and healthcare to educational placements. Volunteers from all backgrounds, ages and walks of life are encouraged.
Learn Spanish on your Project
All volunteers receive 25 online Spanish lessons which will help you make the most of your time in Guatemala and give you a lifelong skill. Lessons are given by experienced tutors from our school, Spanish Marks.
